He is serving poor & downtrodden through Lions Organisation for last six decades. He is Chairman of Lions Eye Hospital Sangli for last 20 Years. During his tenure as a Dist. Governor in 1993 the Sight First project at Lions Eye Hospital Miraj received generous International’s grants & the foundation stone of the Hospital was laid the at the site of MIDC Miraj.
